Recently James celebrated his twelfth birthday. We had some of the members of the church and a couple of his friends come over for cake and to play. For his birthday he got a new game for his NDS. On the following Sunday he received the priesthood and got his first temple recommend. However, because Elizabeth got very sick we weren't able to make the Saturday temple trip so he hasn't had a chance to go to the temple yet. He will have to wait until next month. We also watched him pass the sacrament for the first time this week. I told him that they would tell him what to do, but no one did. He made a few mistakes, but it is a learning process. He has also already done his first home teaching assignment. He has done very well.
