Well it is the Mid-Autumn Festival or as it is sometimes called the moon festival. Typically this is a time for families to get together and BBQ. You are also supposed to gaze at the moon. However, this year Jennifer's father was on a cruise in Alaska so we did it with her brother and his family. We also had another major problem, there was a typhoon hitting the island at the time so we were stuck under constant rain and clouds. We had a good BBQ, but there was no moon to be seen. Jennifer took her traditional spot as the cook.
